We have a highly trained and professional groomer who is great at what she does! We work with a variety of breeds and their cuts, but we also do special requests. So please talk to our groomer today to see how she can help you and your pet!

MEET OUR GROOMER
Dakota is our full-time groomer at AAMC’s Pawlor!
From a very young age, she has had a huge heart for all animals. “Growing up on a farm, we always had a variety of pets. From day one I knew I wanted to work with animals.”
Dakota has over 8 years of grooming experience and has been at Abingdon Animal Medical Center for over 4 years. She has experience with show standard grooming, feline grooming, and creative grooming.
On days that she isn’t pampering pets, she loves watching races at local tracks and exploring hiking trails with her three dogs. (Caliber, Scootie Brown, and Rooster Dogburn)

GROOMING SERVICES:
Bath Service – ears plucked & cleaned, nails trimmed, bath, blow out, and brushed. Finished with cologne and bows/bandana.
Grooming Service – Bath service with choice clipping style.
Feline Grooming – ears cleaned, nails trimmed, hair cut. Bath upon request.
Feline Bath – ears cleaned, nails trimmed, bath, and brush.

SPA TREATMENTS and ADD ONS
Nail Grind – helps to get nails shorter and smoother. ($18 or $3 to any bath/groom)
Nail Trim – stand-alone service
Anal Gland Expression
Ear Cleaning – stand-alone service
Dematting Fee – $10 per 30 minutes (or if preshave is required)
Oatmeal Shampoo/Conditioner – helps with dry, itchy skin ($5)
Flea Shampoo/Oatmeal Shampoo– helps kill active fleas and soothe skin ($5)
Skunk Bath – bath service with a long soak in a deodorizing shampoo to help neutralize skunky odors ($15 added to service price)
Hand Stripping – a service for wire coats to help remove dead hair, create shape, and maintain proper coat texture. ($15 per 30 minutes added to service price)
Furminator – can be added to any groom or bath. This service helps to reduce excessive shedding by reducing the undercoat during the bath. The shampoo and conditioner contain OMEGA 3&6 fatty acids, aloe vera, and chamomile extract. Routine appointments will help eliminate shedding up to 90%! ($25+ added to service price)
