Kristyn Holley

Admin Assistant/Lead Reception

Kristyn has always had a special place in her heart for animals. Growing up, she has always had pets, from cats and dogs, to a rabbit, fish, and even a bird when she was a child. Now Kristyn, her husband, and their two little girls have 4 dogs and 2 cats. “Pets are WONDERFUL additions to a family! Although the loss of a pet is like losing a member of the family, there are many, many cats and dogs out there that need families and love. I feel it is important to find a new family member when the time is right.”-Kristyn

Heaven Luedeman

Heaven Luedeman

Part-Time Receptionist/Part-Time Kennel Assistant

Heaven moved to Abingdon, VA at the age of eight years old, originally from a small town in Indiana. Prior to coming to work with us, she worked in the retail industry for three years.

“Growing up I have always been around cats and dogs and have had such a strong love for them. They bring so much joy into our lives and a happiness you can’t put into words!”

Her family consists of her Fiancé, their son, Lucas, their daughter Elliana and their four legged children, Lola, whom they rescued as a runt five years ago, and Frankie, their newest addition, from Happy Tails Animal Rescue!

“I will always also mention, my sweet Bella, who has passed, but will always have a big place in my heart, she was rescued from the road many years ago.”

“Working here at AAMC has brought a joy to my life like no other, from the amazing and sweet staff, to the cutest furry friends I get to see and work with! They truly make going to work exciting. I’m never not smiling here! Getting to know the patient’s and boarder’s personalities, taking care of them and playing with these fur babies is extremely rewarding for me. At the end of every day, I’m super thankful I get to be apart of their lives!”

Lenzie Blackmon

Part-Time Receptionist

My name is Lenzie and I’ve lived in Abingdon, VA for the majority of my life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had pets and a strong love for animals. I have two cats, Stella and Mango, and a dog named Roscoe. I love them dearly and I believe that God gave us animals to show that unconditional love can be shared without saying a word. I applied to this job in late May of 2024 and became a member of the team in June. I am beyond blessed and thankful for all of the people I work with, even the office cats Tri-Cos and Pumpernickel. Our clients are just the best. They have encouraged me in my journey here and helped me grow in ways I didn’t think were possible.

I truly cannot say it enough. My team, our office manager, doctor, and clients have been beyond what I could imagine, and each day I am grateful to have them in my life. I love this job and everything that we stand for, which is taking care of you and your pets one day at a time with lots of love and care.
