Aleeshia has been with Abingdon Animal Medical for 3 years. She has loved every minute of her career path with AAMC.
Having a 2 1/2-year-old son, Aleeshia knows what it’s like to be a worried mother to both a human baby and fur babies, so she strives to alleviate pet parents’s worries with compassion and love.

Avid animal lovers, Aleeshia and her husband have 3 cats, multiple fish, hermit crabs and recently adopted a parvo survivor puppy from Happy Tails Animal Rescue.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, writing, drawing, watching anime and marathoning shows on Netflix.

Alexis Reichler

Veterinary Assistant

Alexis is currently a Veterinarian Assistant here at AAMC. She has been with us for 3 months and is growing more in love with animals each and every day. Working alongside Dr. O’ Hara, her veterinary knowledge is sure to increase with each passing hour. After work, she looks forward to going home and seeing her 3 dogs: Socks, Lizzie, and Frodo. Besides working at AAMC, Alexis enjoys performing in musical theatre productions, as well as choir ensembles.

Indira Gross

Kennel Lead at AAMC

She takes care of your fur-babies while you are away!
Indira started working in the kennels at AAMC in 2011. “ I have seen a lot, but I continue to learn and grow with each passing year. Each new dog or cat that comes to stay with us presents an opportunity to discover what makes them happy to be here!”-Indira

A little about Indira: She is 34 years old, born and raised in the woods of SW Virginia. People are often interested to find out that she was named after Indira Gandhi, the second prime minister of India (after they gained independence from Great Britain). She is married and has an 8-year-old son. She loves hiking and spending time in nature. Her hobbies include writing poetry and short stories, amateur bird-watching, and baking tasty goodies for her family and friends.

Jessica Foster

Morning/Lead Receptionist at AAMC

Jessica has been working at AAMC for three years, and says she absolutely loves it! She has always had a fondness for animals. Her volunteer work with a local animal rescue is what led her to where she is now. She has four cats of her own. “Not enough to be considered “the crazy cat lady” just yet, right?! Kristyn Holley

Afternoon Receptionist at AAMC

Kristyn has always had a special place in her heart for animals. Growing up, she has always had pets, from cats and dogs, to a rabbit, fish, and even a bird when she was a child. Now Kristyn, her husband, and their little girl have 4 dogs and 2 cats. “Pets are WONDERFUL additions to a family! Although the loss of a pet is like losing a member of the family, there are many, many cats and dogs out there that need families and love. I feel it is important to find a new family member when the time is right.”-Kristyn
