Lindsay Ward

Veterinary Assistant/LVT student

Lindsay has always had a love for all animals. From a very young age, she knew that she wanted her career to involve working with animals. “I have been extremely blessed to make that dream a reality.” Lindsay has over 2 years experience working in a vet’s office, 4 years experience as a pet trainer, and over 5 years experience as a pet care customer service associate.

“Not only is my work life dedicated to taking care of pets, but my home life is too! My fiancé and I have many pets that consist of dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and small animals – most of which are rescues!”

As you can see, spending time with animals is her number one passion. Lindsay is currently pursuing her other dream of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
“I look forward to taking care of your beloved pet, and promise to care for them like one of my own!!”

Justice Puckett

Justice graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. During her four years of University and shortly after graduating, she spent her time learning more about her favorite pets ranging from dogs to cats and hamsters to reptiles. She also has some experience working with large exotics, but has found that her true passion is caring for your beloved pets here at Abingdon Animal Medical Center. “I love meeting everyone’s sweet pets and taking care of them because I know how much they mean to their parents.”

Justice lives in the nearby Bristol, VA with her husband and their pets. They have two dogs, two geckos, and a chinchilla. She dedicates her free time to spending time with her pets and learning more about how to provide them with quality care. Justice is currently in school to become one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians.

Brittany Sheets

Kennel Assistant: She cares for your fur babies while you are away!

Brittany has loved animals ever since she was child and has always swore to her parents that she would own a farm filled with them when she was older. While she does not own a farm yet, she was given an amazing opportunity to work with dogs and cats on the daily basis and couldn’t picture herself doing anything else.

“All of them have such wonderful and different personalities, making my days at work interesting. They always manage to put a smile on my face.”
Prior to coming to work at Abingdon Animal Medical Center, Brittany worked at PetSmart for a year and a half as a petcare associate. Her job duties consisted of feeding, cleaning, and medicating all sick animals ranging from snakes and chameleons to cats and dogs.

She received her associates degree from Virginia Highlands Community College in Basic Sciences. Brittany is currently 24 years old, married and shares a home with her husband and their pets. They currently have a dog, 2 cats, and 2 guinea pigs. “I am excited to learn and grow with Abingdon Animal Medical Center and looking forward to providing the best care possible for all of your pets!”
