Lenzie Blackmon
Part-Time Receptionist
My name is Lenzie and I’ve lived in Abingdon, VA for the majority of my life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had pets and a strong love for animals. I have two cats, Stella and Mango, and a dog named Roscoe. I love them dearly and I believe that God gave us animals to show that unconditional love can be shared without saying a word. I applied to this job in late May of 2024 and became a member of the team in June. I am beyond blessed and thankful for all of the people I work with, even the office cats Tri-Cos and Pumpernickel. Our clients are just the best. They have encouraged me in my journey here and helped me grow in ways I didn’t think were possible.
I truly cannot say it enough. My team, our office manager, doctor, and clients have been beyond what I could imagine, and each day I am grateful to have them in my life. I love this job and everything that we stand for, which is taking care of you and your pets one day at a time with lots of love and care.

Hannah Lester
Part Time Receptionist/Part Time Kennel Assistant
Hannah was born and raised in Bristol. “Although my profession for the last 8 years has been bakery-related and being a cake artist, ever since I was old enough to be asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer has always been a Vet. As I’ve gotten older marine life has become a huge fascination of mine! Being around all animals small, large, wild and aquatic makes me happy!”
Working with the dogs and cats in the kennels is a great first step on the journey to making working with animals a lifelong career fro Hannah! Supporting her on that journey is her mom, her fiance, and their 4 fur babies! “We have 2 dogs, a hyper and attitude-filled Australian shepherd Lola and our little loving Pomchi “Princess” Willow as well as 2 cats. A very talkative siamese, Bentley and our feisty Orange girl Autti.”
